Ruby Car Processing and Exceptions Specialist

Document, Notary, and Exceptions Support

Here at Avis Budget Group, we're looking for a Ruby Car Processing and Exceptions Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing financial tasks and handling all paperwork exceptions associated with the purchase of a vehicle, including processing vehicle titles and registrations to establish or transfer ownership of motor vehicles according to state and agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Update internal systems with information on traded-in vehicles to account for them as assets.
  • Process trade-in payoff payments to respective lienholders using proper calculations.
  • Generate banking reports via various financial sites/files received.
  • Use the LongPen system to process incoming deal paperwork by signing and notarizing documents thoroughly and accurately.
  • Mail all documents to proper locations, including tag agencies and DMV locations.
  • Track all incoming and outgoing work in a shared system for visibility and identify gaps in processes for seamless reporting.
  • Work with banks and lienholders to obtain titles on vehicles associated with payoffs.
  • Facilitate the Long Pen signatures process/experience with customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2-4 years of data entry experience.
  • Previous customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in an automotive dealership transactional support role.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable experience.
  • Notary Public license required.
