Registered Nurse- Urgent Care

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care department at The University of Vermont Medical Center. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, assess their needs, and implement and evaluate nursing care plans. As a Staff Nurse II, you will work collaboratively with medical teams, offer patient care, educate patients about their health, and ensure continuity of care during and post-treatment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Preference for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or commitment to obtain BSN as per company policy.
• Experience in a specialized clinical area.
• More than one year of relevant nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized patient care based on assessment and care plans.
• Work as an integral member of the nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and manage duties as needed.
