Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing family-owned company, Truck and Trailer Specialties, Inc. As the Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily functions at our Howell Shop, including customer and vendor communication, service work order management, employee time tracking, invoicing, office maintenance, and operational support for the shop manager and team leads.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and vendors in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Open and track service work orders.
  • Audit employee time clock activity.
  • Assist customers with part pick-ups and direct them to the parts department.
  • Work closely with shop manager and team leads to schedule deliveries.
  • Prepare outgoing and incoming packages.
  • Invoice customers daily and accept payments.
  • Confirm and track purchase orders.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Perform filing tasks.
  • Maintain and tidy office areas.
  • Provide operational support to the shop manager and others.
  • Place purchase orders.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
