1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage is $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Aldi.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, product integrity, and safety of one’s own and others’ work and impact to the stores.
• Collaborate and cooperate with the team.
• Adapt positively to pressure, setbacks, challenges, and change to achieve and sustain peak effectiveness.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform basic arithmetic equations and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare products for store deliveries.
• Frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
• Safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
