Residential Youth Counselor (Direct Care Support Youth Professional) – Job Description

Reports To: Program Director

Pay Rate up to $18.00/hr plus $1000 Sign-on Bonus Full-time Youth Counselors!

Location: Pike, NH

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Youth Counselor to provide mentorship and support to at-risk youth in a residential setting. Shifts: 4-Day Work Week

Front Half - Sunday 8a-10:30p, Monday - Wednesday 2:00p - 10:30p.

Back Half - Wednesday - Friday 2:00p - 10:30p, Saturday 8:00a-10:30p

Come in for open positions at Mount Prospect Academy without an appointment. Interviews held on Thursdays at 2274 Moosilauke Highway, Pike, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, mentorship, and crisis management for students.
• Implement social and recreational activities to engage residents.
• Deliver direct services according to individual treatment plans.
• Develop residents' social skills, coping mechanisms, and respectful relationships.
• Facilitate daily routines and provide emotional stability to students.
• Document service delivery and relevant incidents.
• Participate in the program's residential treatment model.
