Job Summary:
As a Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health, you will provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. You will assist physicians, deliver quality patient-centered care, perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, and provide patient/family education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Provide intra-procedural technical support
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Maintain radiation safety standards
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology
- Clinical experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR
- Relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, RT-CV, VI, RCES, RCIS)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
