Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join LifeBridge Health as part of our clinical team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Social Worker, you will provide essential psychosocial assessments and support to patients and their families, addressing a variety of common challenges they may face during their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide clinical social work services.
- Assist patients with adjustment to institutional living and aging-related changes.
- Support patients and families with financial concerns and discharge planning.
- Offer counseling and guidance on various medical and emotional challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
- LCSW-C certification preferred; LGSW certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
