Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care before, during, and after procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures, providing technical support and patient-centered care.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms and calculations when required.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on technical equipment.
- Participate in training less experienced techs and may assist physicians during procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Interventional procedures.
- Active certifications such as BLS, ACLS, RT, and other relevant certifications based on specialty.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills required.
