Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in AWS Cryptography to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing secure, open source encryption tools and libraries for AWS customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation, for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate and optimize global AWS business infrastructure with a focus on security and reliability.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust to enhance security controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in design, architecture, and scalability of systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development lifecycle expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
