Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This position offers the opportunity to work on open-source projects, build secure encryption tools, and contribute to the protection of customer data on a large scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature design, testing, and implementation.
- Operate business-critical services with global reach.
- Develop secure foundational libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists on delivering cryptographic solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in software programming and leading system design.
- Prior experience as a mentor or tech lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development lifecycle expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
