Registered Nurse - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and treatment to students in a school campus setting. In the absence of the Health and Wellness Director, you may be required to assume the role temporarily.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health evaluations of new students, including vital sign measurements, hearing and vision screening, specimen collection, and phlebotomy procedures.
• Administer medications, monitor students, and report adverse reactions to the Health and Wellness Director.
• Coordinate medical appointments and manage Chronic Care Management Plans for students with chronic illnesses.
• Act as the Co-Disability Coordinator, providing medical accommodations to students.
• Support the Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles (HEALS) committee and activities.
• Attend staff training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school graduate with a State RN license.
• Preferred: One year of nursing experience, Job Corps experience desirable.
• Knowledge of sound nursing techniques, effective communication, good organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
