Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Float to join our team at Denver Health. As part of our Nursing Staffing Office Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients across various units and departments. You will work under general supervision, adhering to professional nursing standards and utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify health needs of patients and communities
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
- Develop and modify patient care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Instruct patients and families on health education and aftercare
- Administer nursing care and medications
- Promote positive patient experience
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- BLS and RN licenses required
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards
- Ability to use medical equipment effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred
