Job Description

General Summary
Under supervision and following established procedures, you will conduct precise diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. Your responsibilities include ensuring the safety of patients during procedures, accurately operating imaging equipment, and upholding Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams after patient verification and order confirmation.
- Monitor patients for safety during procedures.
- Conduct radiographic procedures using appropriate methods based on patient conditions.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and individuals.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
