We are currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoon shifts. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, while upholding our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams after proper verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document them in medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures by monitoring them closely.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols for any malfunctions.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam rooms between patients.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the department by assisting colleagues and following quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certified Radiographer (R) by ARRT upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA upon hire.
