Project Engineer

Job Description

Golden Wolf LLC is currently looking for a versatile Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing support to the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) by managing facility life cycles, developing scopes of work, estimates, and coordinating various engineering tasks on-site in Portsmouth, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive program support for Facility Management Program activities, including project requirements determination, cost estimation, and system evaluation.
• Assist in the development of project scope information, statements of work, and specifications, collaborating with Facility Management personnel.
• Act as a liaison between BUMED and installation Facility Management Specialists, ensuring accurate record-keeping and coordination of facility-related activities.
• Conduct site assessments to prioritize maintenance activities based on cost, criticality, and facility mission.

Requirements

• Secret level Security Clearance or the ability to obtain an interim Tier 3 clearance.
• Strong technical background with 5-10 years of experience in Real Property Systems, with knowledge in Mechanical, Structural, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant DOD facilities management procedures and systems.
• Ability to travel (minimum 25% CONUS and OCONUS).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with two years related experience; or
• Ten years of facility management experience with specialized experience in maintenance program management.
