Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran. You will electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. Please note that disability determinations are made by the United States Veterans Administration, and this role only involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. The position requires performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day and follows a full-time schedule from 8am to 4pm. This is an in-person position. Key attributes for this role include being interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments, analyzing data from medical records and exam findings, time management skills, and proficiency in using a computer.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
