Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., a leading petroleum transporter in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a Truck and Trailer Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our equipment across various markets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Handle air and electrical system troubleshooting, minor diesel engine repairs, and suspension/brake systems maintenance.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Willingness to travel between markets.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• Must own tools and be DOT certified.
• Preferred: Minimum 4 years' experience, welding experience, CDL Class A driver's license.
