Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a mobile mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Address minor diesel engine repairs.
• Complete suspension, brake systems, and component repairs.
• Handle tire maintenance.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Travel between markets as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must own tools.
• DOT certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
