Job Description
Matheny School and Hospital has a career opportunity available for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at our Basking Ridge, NJ Community Residence. Full-Time shifts are Monday, Friday, Saturday 7am-7pm. Part-Time shifts are either every Sunday 7am-7pm or every Saturday 7pm-7am. The LPN will serve as the primary nurse for a caseload of community residents, provide skilled nursing care, coordinate care with staff, ensure proper documentation, monitor and coordinate care, provide staff training, and promote professional relationships with community health professionals. Additionally, the LPN will be responsible for medication administration, communicate effectively with group home staff, complete paperwork, review meal plans, provide training to new staff, accompany and transport residents to appointments, and follow proper medication administration and medical documentation procedures.
