Job Description

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNAs) to join Shep 3 North, our new long-term, alternative care unit opening in March 2024. As an LNA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including taking vital signs, responding to patient needs, and assisting with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Take vital signs and respond to call lights.
  • Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record.
  • Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, mouth care, and toileting.
  • Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, compassion, and empathy in patient care.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to ensure exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • LNA licensure within the State of Vermont.
  • Preferred experience in Long Term Care.
