Job Description
The Group Fitness & Studio Team Lead (GFSTL) position at VASA Fitness offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of creating an uplifting and inclusive fitness experience for members. The GFSTL will be responsible for maximizing studio and group fitness usage, ensuring tailored and convenient class schedules, and creating a high-energy environment that motivates and uplifts members.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and Staffing: Actively recruit and acquire talent to drive club traffic and member engagement. Manage class schedules and conduct evaluations to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Achieving Results, Maximizing Studio/Group Fitness Usage: Analyze business performance to drive financial targets and attendance. Proactively identify and provide solutions for scheduling problems.
- Deliver A World-Class Member Experience: Ensure equipment and spaces are clean and safe, execute flawless programming, and provide continuous training and mentoring for team members.
- Trains, Coaches, and Supports Ongoing Instructor Development: Lead by example, build trust and relationships with team members, and conduct instructor evaluations and practice sessions to enhance skill sets.
- Delivers Care and Creates Connection: Ensure an exceptional member experience, address concerns promptly, and establish a culture that adheres to core values and drives accountability.
