Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bishop Gadsden. The ideal candidate will have advanced professional experience in a restaurant kitchen setting. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items according to the Executive Chef's directions.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in food preparation and handling techniques daily.
  • Prepare hot entrees, sandwiches, sauces, and vegetables with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete advance preparations as necessary.
  • Work in a fast-paced a la carte environment.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in Culinary preferred.
  • 2 years of professional experience as a line cook preferred.
  • Previous restaurant experience is required.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and speed.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Capability to handle physical demands of the job.
