Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bishop Gadsden. The ideal candidate will have advanced professional experience in a restaurant kitchen setting. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items according to the Executive Chef's directions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in food preparation and handling techniques daily.
- Prepare hot entrees, sandwiches, sauces, and vegetables with accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete advance preparations as necessary.
- Work in a fast-paced a la carte environment.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in Culinary preferred.
- 2 years of professional experience as a line cook preferred.
- Previous restaurant experience is required.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and speed.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job.
