Job Description
We are looking for an Energy Development Manager to join the Amazon Data Services, Inc. team. As a key member of the AWS Energy Team, you will play a vital role in transmission planning activities to facilitate the identification of sites for renewable energy projects and power supply opportunities for existing and future AWS data centers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain transmission planning and generation interconnection models.
- Aggregate and manage datasets to support effective business decision-making across energy projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate transmission constraints.
- Conduct power flow transmission studies to explore alternative energy solutions.
- Facilitate technical due diligence assessments on power connection options.
- Manage consultants and contractual documents related to projects.
Locations
We are hiring for locations in Seattle, WA, USA.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in infrastructure.
- Experience with infrastructure builds.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Transmission Planning and Generation Interconnection studies.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $87,000/year to $197,700/year depending on geographic location and experience. Additional forms of compensation and benefits may be offered.
