Job Description
We are seeking a professional and experienced CDL A Tanker Driver to join our team. As a crucial member of our transportation division, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials in tanker trucks.
- Adhere to all safety and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including electronic logs and required delivery documents.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Ensure delivery routes are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement in the state of residence.
- Hazmat endorsement required in some locations.
- Minimum of six months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five-axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination unit.
- Must possess a stable work history and be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no DWI or DUI convictions in the previous seven years.
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam, pulmonary function test, and controlled substance test.
- Professionalism in appearance and performance is essential.
