Job Description
Server Products Inc is seeking a highly skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal and components using a wide variety of operations. You will play a crucial role in contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the professional growth of your team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares work using SOP’s, blueprint specifications, and Product Structure list.
- Set up and operate sheet metal fabricating equipment according to specifications.
- Perform operations to layout, fabricate, machine, and assemble standardized products.
- Responsible for accurate reporting of labor time, production quantities, inventory movements, and scrap in the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing standard 5S.
- Utilize a variety of measuring instruments incidental to trade practices.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of sheet metal fabricating.
- Strong attention to detail and good math and reasoning skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot equipment and provide solutions.
- Forklift certification.
