1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As a key member of our warehouse operation, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvements and support warehouse management goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Efficient organization and adherence to company standards.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Physical agility for various warehouse tasks.
