1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Position Type:

Part-Time

Average Hours:

Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and alert management to any issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
