1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a critical part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in efficiently managing stock, handling merchandise, and ensuring the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain appearance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Independently perform tasks and assist in achieving goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any issues to management.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
